Philodendron scandens ‘Brasil’

Philodendron scandens ‘Brasil’ (also listed as Philodendron hederaceum ‘Brasil’) is a trailing Philodendron with glossy, heart-shaped foliage variegated in dark green and vivid lime-yellow. The variegation runs in broad, irregular stripes that give each leaf a hand-painted quality. It can trail down from a shelf or climb up a moss pole for larger leaves. It’s fast-growing, easy-going, and tolerant of a wide range of conditions.

Origins
Philodendron hederaceum is native to the tropical forests of Central and South America and the Caribbean, where it grows as a hemiepiphyte climbing from the forest floor into the canopy. ‘Brasil’ is a cultivar selected for its bright lime-yellow variegation.
